At Eighty8 Salon your hair appointment is more than just a service—it's your safe space. Whether you're coming in for a fresh balayage, a major hair extension transformation, or just a little root touch-up, I want you to feel 100% comfortable, relaxed, and unapologetically you.

Here are 6 things you never have to apologize for when you’re in my chair, as a Chicago hairstylist:
1. Working During Your Appointment
We’re both hustling! If you need to hop on your laptop, send emails, or take a call during your appointment—go for it. This is multitasking at its finest, and I totally get it. To make working from my chair a little easier I even have a laptop desk on hand for you to use.
2. Wearing Comfy Clothes
There’s no dress code here. Rock your sweats, hoodie, or whatever makes you feel most relaxed. Your appointment time is self-care time, and that includes comfort.
3. Wanting Quiet Time
Not in the mood to talk? That’s totally okay. Just let me know if you’d prefer a more chill, quiet vibe. I want you to get the most out of your visit—even if that means simply zoning out.
4. Eating During Your Appointment
Long appointments = snack time. Feel free to bring food, order takeout, or enjoy the snacks and beverages I keep stocked for my clients. You deserve to be nourished while you’re being pampered!
5. Venting or Oversharing
My chair is your safe space. Whether you want to share life updates, vent about your week, or just chat about the latest Netflix binge, I’m here for it. This is your time.
6. Not Getting Your Hair Done in a While
Life gets busy. Whether it’s been a few months or over a year, there’s zero judgment. I’m just happy to have you back and ready to make you feel amazing again!
The Bottom Line:Your hair appointment should feel like a break from the chaos—not something to stress about. My goal is always to create a space where you feel welcome, comfortable, and taken care of. So come as you are. You’re always enough in my chair.
